Forgoing the traditional venture capital or private equity model, GM Capital Partners Ltd. fulfills a niche by serving not only as a financial sponsor but also as a partner for emerging growth companies. While fundraising is an important aspect of our sponsorship, typically in the range of US$3-20 million, we also take a vested interest in the total development of our partner companies. To this end, GM Capital Partners Ltd. is often called on to participate in the strategic development of its partners.

When evaluating investment projects, we seek opportunities that have market leader potential. We follow a proactive hands-on approach that permits maximization of our firm's core competencies and offers top-level assistance to entrepreneurs and investors and a long-term commitment. Our project portfolio is defined by companies with top quality management, proven products and prospects, and that have potentially exponential revenue growth.

Our project companies come to us mainly by referral through our network of professional contacts. We do not have a particular industry sector focus for our projects and we have helped develop companies in the following industries: Mining and Precious Metals, Safety and Security, Technology, Healthcare as well as Oil and Gas. While economic cycles may at times lead us to focus on particular industries, we will consider any opportunity that provides a sound fundamental investment for investors.
